Andrew Hampton is the Head Teacher at Thorpe Hall School in Southend-on-Sea. He has been teaching for over 35 years, initially qualifying as a Music Teacher. Andrew has been Head at Thorpe Hall School for nearly 14 years with achievements such as Winners of the Whole School Community Initiative of the year AND Highly Commended for Senior School of the year too, Andrew is not short of experience in this field. His fantastic “Girls on Board” initiative is what we get into today- described as ‘an approach that empowers girls in school to navigate the choppy waters of friendships for themselves’, there are plenty of lightbulb moments in this episode!
